Chapeau!

It was good to see a professional team from the UK at the top of their form and gaining such success, culminating in this thrilling final weekend of the 2012 Tour de France, with unprecedented scenes.  Not, for once this weekend, the Sky cycling team with Bradley Wiggins at their head, but the good folk of V-squared TV, with wefcpug's good friend Peter Wiggins still in the credits as head editor (or whatever they call him these days).

You can still catch, somewhere in the podcast archives, the visit I made to them in London a couple of years back, when Bradley W was just coming into prominence on the road.  The programmes (the nightly pull-together of the day's events, plus specials plus music montages) have been as good as ever, and the unprecedented move to ITV1 for the live broadcasts during Saturday and Sunday brought the race to HD in this country for the first time.

Champagne all round in the edit suites, I hope, and bravo messieurs!
